Clay Rebel Cheerleaders

The Orange Park Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 4365 recently donated $750.00 to the Special Olympics Clay Rebels Cheerleaders.  This Cheerleading Squad supports the Special Olympics and provides a great sense of sportsmanship to its members, athletes and the community.  With COVID-19, the Squad has had difficulty raising funds to purchase necessary equipment.  Aerie 4365 was honored to help these athletes obtain what was required.  Best of all, the funds help them attend a recent competition where they won 1st place and now have the opportunity to attend their national competition.

Thank you to the Special Olympics Clay Rebels Cheerleaders for performing for our members during our Joint Meeting on October 26th.  Your performance was enjoyed by everyone!

The girls performed for us to thank us for donating $750.00 to their organization.  Their Coaches were very appreciative, especially since COVID-19 has impacted donations this year.

HELPING OUR NEIGHBORS AT SAVANNAH AERIE #330 IN RICHMOND HILL, GEORGIA

Just a reminder to take advantage of the dual membership offer with Aerie #330, while helping them earn funding for a building.
As a special offer to help this Aerie, members of any F.O.E. can become dual members at both their home Aerie and Aerie #330. Cost for dual membership is $20 for Aerie and $15 for Auxiliary.  See an Aerie Officer for details.
Right: Chuck & Mary on the front porch of their home which also serves as their “Aerie #330 home,” as you can see from the plaque.

Memos From Our Secretaries

Our Secretaries always have important news to share.  Be sure to check here often for updates.

Notes From Desiree Bryan,
Aerie Secretary

Important Note:  The Aerie will be voting on the amendment to By-Law Section 1.2 at the meeting on December 14, 2020.

Please remember that Aerie members have volunteered to host Thursday night dinners through the end of the year to help fund the 25th Anniversary and New Year’s Eve parties!  So, let’s all try to support them.

Also, please remember to take advantage of the dual membership offer with Aerie #330 in Savannah, Georgia.  It’s a great opportunity to show that we truly are “People Helping People.

I hope everyone has a safe and happy Christmas and New Year!

Notes From Jean Morgan,
Auxiliary Secretary

Once again, , the Charity of the Month is the Auxiliary’s Holiday Basket Fund.  Sometimes we get so busy during the holiday season, that we forget what an impact something as small as a Holiday Basket can have on those in need.  So, I thought I would include the wonderful Thank You Note below ito remind everyone exactly what these baskets mean to those who receive them.  I hope you will feel the heartfelt gratitude of this family and maybe feel a little warmth knowing we all contributed to make someone’s holiday more enjoyable.

I want to thank all of you for supporting our growth of the Auxiliary Holiday Events Fund.  With your support, we can continue to grow our charity efforts by providing more Holiday Baskets and ensuring a great Breakfast with Santa!  So, once again, keep buying those dinners and drinks so we can purchase more for those in need.

My wishes to our members and their families for a joyous holiday season!

Food For Thought

Thoughts from the Kitchen Administrator.
Just a reminder - all proceeds from dinner sales benefit Breakfast With Santa.  Most of you know the impact this event has on both the kids and the members.  It has become a huge holiday tradition at our Eagles and we want to continue making it the best Christmas event in the area.  $2 Bloody Mary and Screwdriver sales will continue during Sunday Breakfast to support the Auxiliary Holiday Events Fund.  The support of our members is truly appreciated!
